In the Ñimbl Teamspace setup, all usual databases are found as sub-pages under {Company} Databases.

This centralisation aims to make it easier for everyone to quickly find what they're looking. It also increases the chance that a database will be reused instead of someone creating a new one for s similar purpose.

As {Company} Databases is a Notion wiki, each database has designated owners. These individuals act as points of contact for colleagues and are responsible for maintaining the structure of the database. Their duties may include overseeing the creation of tags, ensuring templates remain up to date, and other administrative tasks.

Common examples of these databases include Projects and Tasks, Calendars, Trackers, Customers, and more.

We've included a Template button on the Home page of {Company} Databases to simplify the process of creating new databases for your company. You're welcome to customize the template within the button to better suit your specific requirements.

We decided that is an exception to keep things nimble. Except for quick access there is no reason that it shouldn't belong there and this opinion could even be expanded to the Wiki.

There are additional exceptions to this guideline, particularly when a database is only used for organizing one-time information. This might occur within a Memo or any Knowledge Category. However, we recommend considering this carefully. Often, creating a linked view to a centralized database is a better option as it helps avoid clutter and make data accessible to others.
